Cantina Contini

For more than 120 years, Contini has continued Sardinia’s wine-making tradition, with Vernaccia di Oristano at the centre of its history. Today the winery combines experience with new approaches and produces a range of wines sold in Italy and abroad.

Four generations of Sardinian wine-making

From Salvatore to Attilio, then Paolo and his nephews Alessandro and Mauro, the  Contini winery  has grown through the passion and work of four generations. For  more than 120 years , a common thread represented by  Vernaccia di Oristano has shaped Contini’s work.

Over time, Vernaccia has been joined by other wines: the  historic Nieddera grape variety, traditional  Vermentino  and  Cannonau, and ranges such as  Karmis, the  Attilio  and the organic  Mamaioa.

Today the winery produces a  complete range of wines sold in Italy and abroad. It continues to develop its wine-making methods and ideas, creating wines with a lasting connection to the local area.
