Northern Sardinian vineyards and Torbato wines
Poderi Parpinello owns 35 hectares of vineyards, across three areas of northern Sardinia (Castelsardo, Lake Baratz/Alghero, Janna de Mare/Sassari). These different environments are used to grow local varieties (Vermentino, Semidano, Cannonau, Monica, Cagnulari) for wines with freshness, savoury character and structure.
The winery is at Janna de Mare, near Sassari. In recent years the company has focused on Torbato, a grape variety grown in a small part of Sardinia, used to produce Centogemme Alghero DOC Torbato. The winery also has a showroom and offers guided visits and tastings by reservation.
Beside the winery, guests can stay at a Bed & Wine Experience with seven rooms and a swimming pool among the Torbato vineyards.
